Bill...
Here's some new stuff I''m ddiggin' as of late...
ELECTRIC SOFT PARADE - No Need TO Be Downhearted
Fronted by brothers Alex and Thomas White, ESP's third full-length is a
solid exercise in modern Britpop with enough twists and turns to please just
about anyone's palate. The basic formula is lilting melodic pop, with
brother Tom's soothing, pitch-perfect vocals strongly carrying each tune -
but twists and turns into psychedelic electronic noodling RIYL: Super Furry
Animals, Fields, Blur, The Shins

TRAVIS - The Boy WIth No Name
A bit of return to form, eh? Great songs. Simple and straightorward Britpop.
BLONDE REDHEAD - 23
WOW!!! This band has finally reached their apex I think - stellar, dense
fervently melodic...a perfect representation of their label's (4AD)
repertoire!
Shades of Lush, Curve...Cocteau Twins...a quieter My Bloody Valentine.
More upbeat that their last few...elaborate instrumentation...and instantly
engaging!

GREAT NORTHERN - Trading Twilight For Daylight
This band's single "Home" instanly grabbed me. Lush, fervently melodic -
haunting.
