I was in the supermarket yestrday, and I couldn't believe my
ears...over the speaker system came "September Gurls." It
was followed by a half hour of modern AM radio crap, and
then, almost as oddly, it played Wings' "Hi Hi Hi," not exactly
one of their most popular singles.

What is going on? Are there satellite stations that mix modern
AM fodder with obscurities from the past? This was truly bizarre.
