Alan,
Â
I realize that the state of internet radio is near and dear to you, and Eytan probably doesnât need me to come to his defense but I could not help but be moved to comment on the following:
Â
>Wow. Eytan, I'm surprised by your post. Really surprised.
Â
What is so surprising? He was just sharing the way in which the opposing viewpoint is representing their stance. I find it actually interesting to see how âthe other sideâ is couching it, and I would think others would too.
Â
>My suggestion? Think about what you wrote, and see if you don't think you
>were hasty in deciding which way the webcasting wind is blowing. If you
>decide you were right all along, I feel sorry for you.
Â
Not to be nitpicky- but all Eytan wrote was this:
Â
I don't really care one way or another because I'm sure I'll never see any
royalties from any kind of radio, but I thought I'd pass on the other side
(from a letter from the company that administers my publishing):
Â
The rest of his post was a direct quote from the source he mentioned. I donât think anything in the above indicates which way the webcast wind is blowing. He is merely sharing the opposing viewpoint.
Â
Beth
PS-hi Michael Kropp! ;-)
