Hi, all.

Beginning at midnight tonight, Pure Pop 24/7, along with a long list of
prominent webcasters, including Live365, Yahoo!, Rhapsody, KCRW, and
Pandora, will participate in the Day of Silence. On this day, we hope to
bring increased attention to the public of a threat to webcasters of all
sizes and formats.

On July 15, many, if not most, webcasters will cease broadcasting if the
recently proposed new webcasting royalty rates take effect. They are not
only incredibly and unfairly high, but are retroactive back to January,
2006! Most webcasters' choice will be easy and unfortunate: in order to
avoid certain financial hardships, they will likely have to cease
broadcasting.

On the plus side, the Internet Radio Equality Act has extremely strong
support in the House and Senate. Unfortunately, the Act may not be voted on
before the July 15 deadline, so a petition for a stay on the new royalties,
to be put aside at least until the Act is voted on, has been put forth and
hopefully will be dealt with before July 15. If not, Internet radio may well
be on its way to becoming a thing of the past.

Pure Pop 24/7 will stand proudly alongside the long list of webcasters on
tomorrow's Day of Silence. Listeners clicking on the Listen link at
http://www.purepopradio.com will be connected to a special Day of Silence
stream which will feature a public service announcement that explains what
is going on.

Pure Pop 24/7 will resume broadcasting of our regular mix of the greatest
pop in the universe at midnight EST, tomorrow night. We thank you for your
continued support (and thanks, also, for the increased listenership over the
last couple of days!).

Alan
