I don't believe in "is better" as a rule.  I certainly like it way 
better than Chaos & Creation.

I didn't know thtere were trends in 1989.  I would have pegged that era 
as between trends (a few years earlier, cheesy synths; a few years 
after, very loud then very soft...)
