Dave Rave & Mark McCarron In The Blue Of My Dreams (Bongo Beat):
In 2002, Dave Rave and Mark McCarron first galvanized their blended
love of jazz, pop, Ravel and Debussy with their first CD release
"Another Side Of Love" (Bongo Beat). Dave and Mark continue to push
the jazz envelope by incorporating woodwinds and strings and taking
their experiments into the outskirts of post-bop traditionalism with
the brand new CD release "In The Blue Of My Dreams" due in stores on
July 10 via Bongo Beat Records.
This is the New York City release party presenting a full woodwind
quartet with cello and string bass all conducted superbly by Mr. Mark
McCarron himself and possibly some special surprise vocalists.
Advance copies of the CD will be available at this event.
"... brilliantly evokes a lonely romanticism ... one of the more
insinuating discs of the year.
Rave and McCarron are a winning combo. I hope this is merely the
