Count me in that minority Hersh. It's a very grown up album and one of
the better, warmer sounding Todd productions, where he draws some great
performances from talented players. Maybe the live recording aspect of
it helped that along. He always ups his game when he works with other
musicians and it's a different approach to his solo stuff - which I
also like for other reasons.
I tend to think of "Second Wind" and "Nearly Human" as two parts of
double CD, for reasons stated above.
