Well, we'd probably just make fun of him too. Or George. Maybe Ringo could
get away with it?
Actually I haven't seen the ad. Who cares - let the man do what he wants.
Life's too short. I'm not crazy about "Elvis Costello for Lexus" as a career
move but I prefer to judge musicians by the quality of their music. It would
take a lot more than goofy commercials for me to write off ever wanting to
hear another note of music from someone (although a couple of "artists" have
succeeded).
