They're also making his album available through emusic for the first
time, which means I bought it, unlike his last three (none of which
were good enough for me to pay full CD price for, but all of which I
would pay the very small per-track price I pay through emusic). If the
company he's putting his new stuff out are marketing his stuff more
effectively (people are saying they're seeing posters and haven't for
previous ones) *and* getting it distribution through other outlets
(emusic, Starbucks) which mean sales will be up, *and* paying him more
money, then that does sound like being a 'shrewd businessman' to me.
