I just bought Janice an mp3 player for her birthday today. First
question she asks me."Can I play our old mini-discs on that?". Pah,
technology versus my wife! Anyway, it turned out that what she wanted
to listen to most of all was an old mini-disc compilation I had made
for her a few years back. She was in luck though, I HAD ripped it to
mp3 format awhile back. So here I am listening to it just now, and damn
me, it's a fine comp - Saturn V by the Inspiral Carpets, what a blooming
great song that was! Hadn't heard it in an age - making comps was much
easier when I had less music to choose from!
