Actually, if anything, they've gotten worse. Which is weird, because
Flake was a legendarily good live act.
Speaking of good live acts: just saw Lavender Diamond at the MFA
tonight. Absolutely outstanding, and more than made up for the three
utterly atrocious acts that preceded them, one of whom I told at the
merch table, "You know, next time you should just go ahead and
actually masturbate on stage. It'll be just as unpleasant and
self-indulgent, but slightly less annoying."
