There's a Facebook petition that's calling for the signs to be saved.
The obvious place for them is in the home of Metropolis (The Canadian Music
Hall Of Fame) currently being built at the corner of Yonge & Dundas
(north-east side).
Others have suggested sticking them in Toronto Harbour as beacons for ships,
at the end of Runway 2 at Toronto International Airport, etc.

Great....400 photos of the sign taken in the last 10 days by people. What's
the point? Someone should post photos of the signs back when they were
erected...before Future Shop moved in next store (the former location of
Peter Dunn's Vinyl Museum). Or even vintage photos of the store front from
the last 70 years!!
