I guess I should have been blunt then....you better get used to buying your
CDs at Starbucks, or Hallmark Cards, or Costco.

Except in Starbuck's new business model indie record shops are being cut out
of the loop. McCartney is now the property of the franchise. And they've
limited where you can buy the disc....and any future acts that come down the
pike.
I understand your loyalty to the indies and that buying your CDs at the tail
end of a line-up of Nicocino impaired power suits isn't your idea of a music
buying experience, but the sad reality is that you're about to see more of
this and less of the indie stores.
Footnote: For those unaware, Sam The Record Man (Canada's oldest suviving
music retailer) is closing its flagship store in Toronto for good on June
30th. And I also caught wind of some HMV downsizing while I was in England.
The asteroid is going to hit the planet boys and girls....and no one has a
clue where they should run.
