from a year ago that talks about this and I think it's had an impact outside
the normal number of people who read this site. Certainly in the comments
there is one from Guy Garvey of Elbow and there is a band, 65daysofstatic,
who recorded their album in the way they did specifically because they had
read this article.

The issue is that there are no peaks and troughs in a lot of music on CD now
because of the way it's been mastered. It's all maxed out to make it louder
rather than there being any dynamic range.
