Subject CD Recorder Question

I want to make digital copies of cassette tapes (live shows, demo
tapes, etc.), as well as vinyl, and am considering buying a CD
recorder.  The only one stocked by Best Buy and Circuit City is a Sony
RCD-W500C, and I see many of them on Ebay.  I'm just wondering if
anyone has experience with this equipment, and would recommend it.
