Actually, iTunes works quite well for MY artists and my label under the
current model, thank you very much -- I just wish the competition wasn't so
fierce for that $0.99 consumer committment. The mileage may vary on others
in the same situation. It was eMusic that doesn't work for me which is why
we haven't climbed on board but is a literal steal for consumers.
BTW - Note to artists. Wanna break that lousy 500 downloads in 5 years glass
ceiling? Record cover tunes. The two biggest downloads on Bullseye (which
has only had product on iTunes since March 2005) has been a cover of "Louie
Louie" [1750 downloads] and the old southern chestnut "Dixie" [1532
downloads].

I'm staying at Albert Docks. I leave tonight and will be arriving tomorrow
morning in Liverpool....
Maybe I'll buy you a warm beverage while I'm there...and we can carry on our
rousing debates! :-)
