Yes, there is absolutely no question about it.  Previously, the best 
singers (Kelly Clarkson, Paris Bennett, etc.) have been on the level 
of Jordin Sparks: pretty, enthusiastic, and talented, but with a 
couple of serious technical flaws.  (In Jordin's case, she tends to 
get gaspy on the ballads.)  Melinda is a whole other thing, and 
probably one of the most technically gifted singers I've seen in 
years.  But she's also got charisma out the ass, especially on the 
rockers.  I mean, did you see her "Nutbush City Limits" last night? 
She was no Tina, of course, but she owned that stage.

I have no beef if either Jordin or Blake wins -- I actually think that 
Blake could potentially make the best album of the three of them, and 
I think that album would be surprisingly Audities-friendly -- but I'm 
backing Melinda all the way.
