Stewart..
(I'm the guy who's been watching American Idol religiously all season
and would be the first in line to buy an album by any of the three
finalists. (Seriously, I can't wait to hear a full album by Melinda
Doolittle)
As someone who has "not gotten" American Idol and has posted on
this "fact", I do recall that Stewart (and others) have been a fan of
the show.
In prior years, my wife and daughter would watch it and I'd ususally
leave the room.
What's new for me is I'm sucked into it this year. Totally. My
daughter is bored with it but I look forward to it every week. She is
now shaking her head at me and reading something on the internet
called "Adopt a Dad". Not sure what that's about....
Anyway, I digress.
I know of several other people who have watched it and gotten hooked,
for the first time this year.
My question to you Stewart ...
Is Melinda Doolittle hands down the best artist that's ever been on
the show over the years? That's my theory.
Or, as I pretty much admit is possible, was I just not paying close
enough attention? Either way, she has serious singing ability. Art
and commerce coming together I'd say, this time.
And yeah, I like the remaining two on the show as well.
Sorry I know American Idol is far away from what interests most of
you but I just had to ask.
If Gabe is still here I'm soooooo dead.
