WOW...if you need creative control for $50, then I bet you've snookered some
of your acts into very beneficial one-sided contracts.

If I'm going to give a band my money to record an album I'd certainly want a
say in what was being recorded...and hearing the songs in progress would
definitely be a stipulation. The money entitles you to be an executive
producer.
Is IKE willing to compromise creative control in order to get the finances
they need?
