I love The Beachland. I think it's about the best place in the world to see
a show, get a fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich and have options of
drinking for quality or quantity. And the sound is terrific.

My favorite record store is two doors down from The Beachland, called Music
Saves (http://www.musicsaves.com). Great prices, great service and every
ten cd's you get one free, and they keep track - no cards or stickers
needed.

Head west to Bent Crayon (http://www.bentcrayon.com), where they have mainly
Electronica and stuff but a small and unbelievably well chosen rock and roll
section.

Keep going west to My Mind's Eye (http://www.mymindseyerecords.com), which
is where I go when I want to hear hard and fast or I want to see entire
discographies of established or classic rock acts. Plus a nice selection of
new and used vinyl.

I'm going to Livonia, Michigan soon. Anyone know where to buy music around
Detroit?

Rick
