Yeah, I can see your point that sometimes and for some people it's easy. For McC, it was easy to right Yesterday.
Similar to say, basketball is easy for Jordan/Magic/Bird, etc of that level.
While they worked hard, they still had a natural leaning toward basketball. Regardless of how hard I worked, I couldn't be that good. (Obviously)

And I'm sure they all go through periods where songs just fall out of their heads, and others where they're fighting writer's block.

Yes, they all have the dreaded day jobs, but none within the music business. Tony, Brandt and Paul are in the Baltimore area, Matt in Denver, CO.

Matt is the guitarist and lead singer of most tracks (Yearbook, White Dwarf, Manna, etc.), Brandt is the drummer (and also sings lead on stuff like Day Job, the Next One, etc) and Brandt is in Pale Stars. He plays guitar and is the lead singer in that band.
