Gang -
Amidst all of the sharp bantering going on lately, I thought that this was worth sharing with the group.
Last night, my soon-to-be 12-year-old daughter was working on some homework on our PC in the basement where we have a little office set-up as well as my CD/record cabinets and stereo. She came upstairs and asked me if she could listen to some of my discs. Next thing I know, I hear the new Cloud Eleven album.
Now, I always get a kick out of what she chooses to listen to (she was on a Kinks kick a little while back), but this was especially cool to me because I figured that she had no idea who they were and just kind of picked them at random. They were on top of my "recently-listened-to-and-not-yet-refiled" pile, so I guess the name got her attention.
She told me later that she thought they were good and not "too rowdy".
I thought that was cool.
