As a guy who heard the record, the last IKE LP kicked ass. Personally, I'm 
tickled pink for John, who, along with Cliff Hillis, Mike Giblin and several 
other pop types on this list, is one of the great nice guys in the 
Pennsylvania pop scene. If he managed to convince enough of his fans to 
bankroll a recording effort, then that's terrific. Studio time is crazy 
expensive.
Besides, James Joyce had a patron. It's not like it's without precedent.
