I've just bookmarked all of the linked sites from the Powerpoplovers
site since it looks like the site will be going down shortly. I just
looked at Power Pop Criminals (http://powerpopcriminals.blogspot.com/)
that looks to be new, has potential. I also like
http://tunelovinjacket.blogspot.com/

I was a latecomer to the site, but it was a treasure -- I grabbed a lot
of
albums that have never been available on CD, and most of them had
fantastic
sound quality. I've been downloaded a lot of stuff off of sharity
sites. I
have a bit of a code of ethics. I try to burn stuff that's not
available on
CD, or, if it is, it either must be: a) an upcoming release that I plan
on
buying anyway, or, b) something that is not available in the U.S. (my
feeling is that the notion of paying import prices in a downloading age
is
outmoded). Or a live bootleg (got a couple Sweet gigs and some other
stuff
on my hard drive).

Anyway -- who else here is into the sharity scene? Any recommendations?
I
know I get a lot of stuff from Twilight Zone (garage/rockabilly) and
Lost In
Tyme (four sites, ranging from psych/prog to '60s/'70s soul).
