I guess its a matter of what floats your boat really. I, for one, loved The Big Picture! And, after two listens through Future Clouds...I;d choose The Big Picture over this one. "40 Watt" was a very good pop song. And tracks like "Ramon" and "Story of Anna" and "Monterrey Honey" were gorgeous.
But..that's just me...

Yes, I think it's a great return to form for Robert after the yawn
that was The Big Picture. It's no Kon Tiki, but at least it sounds
like it was created by the same mind (after a lot of introspection
and spreading out). I especially love Drugstore Bust, which could
have fallen off the bow of the Kon Tiki.
