Ink19: Were you guys fans of Big Star before you did the song?
Rick: We were aware of them, but we never really heard them in the
'70s. We all knew who Alex Chilton was, of course, from The Box Tops,
and stuff, but nobody in the band really had any of their records or
really heard much about them until probably the '80s, 'til after they
were broke up.
