Couldn't tell you unless I went back and listened to the Big Star record
again and then compared it to the Cheap Trick records. It was just my first
gut reaction when I heard the album. I think it was the FIRST album but I
can't be sure. All I know is that when it came on it was like a big light
bulb went off and I though to myself...."Now I get where Cheap Trick came
from". Not even sure that listening to Cheap Trick would invoke someone to
say "Hey, that's Big Star"....but the other way around did.
Now I may have to go out and buy some Big Star just to figure out what the
hell it was I heard that day. See? This list works...
