Yes, I think it's a great return to form for Robert after the yawn
that was The Big Picture. It's no Kon Tiki, but at least it sounds
like it was created by the same mind (after a lot of introspection
and spreading out). I especially love Drugstore Bust, which could
have fallen off the bow of the Kon Tiki.

That said, it is audacious, compelling, trippy, melodic, wistful,
sprawling, flawed, vexing, colorful, full of sunshine, and I can't
stop playing it. The sheer heft of the thing is actually part of the
charm; while I recognize the validity of the idea that it could have
been cut down, the self-indulgence of the sprawl is a big part of the
charm. They don't make 'em like this often anymore.
