I smell a business opportunity. Maybe you could hold daytime conferences to
coincide with IPO and other music festivals. You could have actual
musicians as guest lecturers who could share their business acumen. I'm
thinking Ani DiFranco, Over the Rhine, Dick Dale. You probably know more.
Jaime, it's been fascinating reading your recent posts. My initial
internal reaction was "wow, Jaime should write a book." Reading further, I
see that you have. I'll amend that to "should write another
(autobiographical) book". And screenplay. I'd pay full admission price at
the theatre and full cd price for the soundtrack. Let me know if you need
an editor; my wife is really good.
Going back to an earlier topic, it just hit me what my all time hated hit
song by a commercially successful musician is: "We Didn't Start the Fire" by
Billy Joel. It pains me just to type it. I must have suppressed it.
