Jeez....they even removed the "Fly Me to the Moon" doorbell?
I agree and I sure hope that when they finally get around to releasing the Wonder Years that they sort this out properly.

I recently ordered some discs from Magic Marker Records and have been really digging the Manhattan Love Suicides self titled disc. Think female fronted shambolic pop with a bit of fuzz , drone and even cheesy organ on some tracks. At times it is not unlike the Shop Assistants or the Jesus and Mary Chain (w/o Scarlett.).
Also on MM from Sweden comes the Faintest Ideas who were called the Javelins until another band by the same name must have had more of a claim to that name. Bristling with jangly guitars, anorak vocals and Wedding Present style drumming these guys fit the so called c86 style of music......yeah..that is who they remind me of... the Wedding Present but with varying speeds..They sound as if they should be on the www.firestation-records.de label on a Leamington Spa comp or something. Anyway...great stuff in my opinion.
Someone mentioned Walker Kong (from Minneapolis) recently and all 3 of their indiepop discs are also released on MM and are strongly recommended as well.
available here:
www.MagicMarkerRecords.com.
It is a great little label that has kept their own scene going in Portland for years. See the V/A House Full of Friends comp for more on that.
Btw..this comp has been one of my 13 year old son's favorite cds for several years and he discovered several of his favorite bands(All Girl Summer Fun Band,Dressy Bessy,Shins,Mates of State,Thermals,Decemberists,Dear Nora)by listening repeatedly to it.
