I would have loved seeing them in their heyday. They were SUPPOSED 
to be on my college campus Fall '84 or '85 but cancelled, we were 
told, due to "new management". I think the switch in styles took 
place shortly thereafter. What a disppointment. 

I had heard of Blackbird (featuring the Kinman Brothers) but never 
pursued it any further. Maybe now I will.

Gary, I think your Jesus & Mary Chain reference was accurate. 
Regardless, it was an awful 3rd album (although I can tolerate "Good 
Times"). But I suppose, unfortunately, there will be those people 
that heard "Sundown" and thought, "Ugh, what happened to my favorite 
punk group, The Dils?".
