For those of you going to IPO in the UK, I recommend checking out Popup.
They're a Scottish band with an infectious punk/pop sound. They played
numerous gigs in Austin around the time of SXSW. The odds are good if you've
spent time on MySpace in the past several months, you may have received a
friend request from them...lol (http://www.myspace.com/popuptheband). Most
of their upcoming gigs are in their homeland ; they're also making a short
stop in NYC in mid-June. Anyway, I've really enjoyed their songs and they're
nice folks as well.
