I'm going to agree with Sam and Greg about the Queen and Cheap Trick
comps.

While the Queen hit collections are truly full of great songs, there are
so many hidden gems on those albums it seems a shame to keep them
hidden. While Brian May does claim to be the most fierce rocker, he's
also written some great power pop. Misfire and Leavin' Home Ain't Easy
rank up there with Fat Bottom Girls. But that's part of the fun of the
complete albums. So many great songwriters and surprise to be endlessly
rediscovered.

On the Cheap trick comps, I've always been disappointed, too. I think
their comps make the best case for making you buy the original albums
because they are totally different in feel and in my view, the type of
music they perform. Taxman, Mr Thief, Downed, Southern Girls, Stiff
Competition, Bay Loves to Rock...the list goes on. Just bypass their
comps and go straight to the originals.

Now, if I had to own just two comps, they would have to be the Red and
Blue albums by the fabs. Excellent choices plus those singles weren't on
anything else.
