I'll have to give that some thought. Cheap Trick's might be a contender.
There was a Rick Derringer "best of" that was embarassingly off-target.
But for a band with the MOST overlap, and perhaps the single greatest
"greatest hits" of the rock era, you'd be hard pressed to top this one:
Credence - Chrolicle, Volume 1. All killer, no filler.
