I think there's validiy to both your points (and also Stewart's, who
publically noted
that most bands are more commecially succesful than my own...and that
college kids
do, in fact, like weed).
And yes...I've more or less come to the conclusion I do not, and will
probably never
like either of these two bands. But despite the leading nature of the
original question, it still
leads to an intersting discussion on the analysis of individual musical
tastes. That's often
what I enjoy reading about the most on this list.
