In your circles of family and work, probably - most people stop digging for
new things when they get married, get a job, become "adults". So they fixate
on the music of their life - Time Life Books makes a fortune off these
people. But here on Audities? There might be a person or two immune to new
stuff but I seriously doubt a large number are. Why on earth would they be
on this list?
I will admit that I reflect fondly upon a particular period of time (65-69)
but mostly because I don't know of any other era with so many great
songwriters being so prolific and consistently amazing all at the same time.
But I am always looking to discover new bands and great songs. I live for
the thought that there could be something right around the corner that blows
my mind and gives me a gut-punch just like so many have before for as long
as I can remember.
