My copy just arrived and I¹m only two listens into it but I think it¹s
great.
Nothing has taken my head off like ³She Goes To Bed² or ³Eloquence² but the
beauty of Jason¹s records is that they take time to seep into your brain.
Indeed, the few tracks I already knew from his myspace page are greeting my
ears like old friends already.
Broadly speaking, any album is made up of two things: 1. The material and 2.
How it is presented. Jason¹s material is always strong, but the fact that he
chooses to produce and play everything himself means that his records are
always going to sound similar. I would love to see him take the plunge and
make a record with a producer, someone he trusts implicitly. I think Even
Johansen (Magnet) whose last album Jason produced would make a killer Jason
Falkner record.
