One of the strengths of the new McCartney single is that it sounds very
loose and demo-ish.
One of the weaknesses of the new McCartney single is that it sounds very

I sorta wish that he had written a real chorus, the one he offers feels like
a really strong middle eight.
I feel like the guitar bursts are a good start but the structure feels
tossed off. Like a demo.
Now having said all that, who else can toss off a great demo like that with
such hummable parts?
Before you answer, remember where Jason Falkner, Jon Brion, Brendan Benson
and others, got the sound from.

Paul seems very wistful at this point but with all he's been through of
late, can you blame him?
Its hard to not to judge his current work again his ever present past work.

Just sayin' 's all.
