And I'll gladly hang blame on Cobain for making music the navel gazing,
whiney, self-involved depressing ode to suburban angst it became until pop
music became frivolous, vacuous and credential-less at the hands of Britney
and her ilk. Thank God for Weezer, Green Day and Fountains of Wayne for
putting the FUN back into 'corporate' music again.
Music should NEVER be as serious as it was during the Grunge era. Or at
least I hope it'll never be that way again.
