What?
Oh.... don't mind me... I was just seeing if I could start another
Hi-Fidelity record geek style argument at the same time.
<<

One of the classic record-geek arguments in which my friends and I
participated back in college centered around establishing what was the
best make-out album of all time. The discussion quickly broke down into
two rival camps: One side suggesting that *The Best Of Bread* was the
all-time-greatest album for turning the female of the species into
pliant goo, the other side insisting that Roxy Music's *Avalon* was the
most surefire ingredient to revving up a woman for a hot session of
tonsil hockey.

It was a great discussion, but in retrospect it was defined by its
unfortunate absurdity. We were only capable of arguing about the best
make-out album in strictly theoretical terms, as no one in my coterie of
music-geek friends ever had much opportunity to compare the two albums
in a live setting with an actual female test subject.
