So, what's the verdict? My CD arrived on Saturday, which was pretty
impressive service. So far, I'm a little disappointed. He seems to
have tried stifling his urge to go off at tangents, but it's resulted
in a few songs which don't really stand out from anyone else. That
said, it's growing on me. Maybe he chose the tracks for this album
based on lyrical/emotional content (rather than tunefulness) resulting
in for an album that's less instantly-appealing than his previous
albums. Matter of opinion, of course, which is why I'm asking for
yours.
