Anyway, I need to remember that when it comes to IPO I'm supposed to be
first and foremost a festival promoter, and I forgot that, and I let my
emotions get the better of me. Also, I assumed that anyone on the list
who
did have an interest in IPO would check the website and/or myspace page
without my having to prompt them. I was wrong, and Steve, I do
apologize
for that, and I apologize to any Auditeer who has missed my posts.
I will resume posting about IPO. Hopefully some of you unfamiliar with
the
festival will check it out. I'm sure you'd be glad you did.
@@@@@ Well, I MISS your posts (IPO and otherwise) but no need to
apologize to me. I sure could have been paying more attention and
checked out the IPO site. Just didn't see the Mpls show coming!
Anyway, glad to hear you'll be promoting the IPO here shows more often.
That's good news indeed!
One quick memory: I remember flying to LA in 1999 for the my first IPO.
I read pages of reviews I'd printed off from Auditie members regarding
shows that had played prior to my arrival. I was primed for a terrific
week and the shows more then lived up to the high expecations.
