Be warned those who have not seen this movie and plan to do so. The previews
for this film sold the public a different bill of goods then what the film
delivered. I took my children to see this....which was a mistake. Not
because it was a bad movie. On the contrary. It was heartfelt and moving at
times. But it was NOT the next Lord Of The Rings or Narnia for kids. The
impression of a wonderous fantasy land shown in the teasers occupies
approximately 12 minutes in the film. The remainder of the movie is about a
family, and specifically a pre-teenage boy, dealing with being
underprivileged and, ultimately tragic loss. My kids were very upset when
they left the movie....and that's not something I had expected to pay for
going in. I would recommed this movie only for kids over 14.
