Whit,
It's funny you mention the song "Cherry Bay", the one and only time I was a judge for a Battle of the Bands (somebody got sick, so a DJ called me). This band was playing mostly all covers. But they said, "We like to play you our new song we just wrote" & they played "Cherry Bay". I had to put on paper what I thought about their performance. I wrote..."Nice energy, good playing, the singer could be better off singer more songs in his range though, and great songwriting!! Especially the Roxanne song & YES I have the Album!!"
Oh I wish Simon was around then!! You should have seen the look those guys gave me after they read what I wrote, they thought they pulled a fast one.LOL
