Well, it's released to various and sundry markets on April 24th...but you
can buy it right now at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club. Savvy marketing, methinks.
I'm not usually a fan of exclusives to one store (or family of stores, in
this case), but REO knows that mainstream America is their bread and butter,
so it's hard to blame them for making this deal, especially since it's only
three weeks worth of exclusivity involved. And having checked out the
unplugged DVD, I can tell you that fans of the band will really enjoy it;
there's a nice, in-depth interview that goes on between the 7 songs they
perform, and they sound fantastic in an acoustic environment. (I
particularly liked the new arrangement of "Ridin' The Storm Out.")
