It's The Bears, Dave! :D The usual fine songwriting from all four guys, &
wacky sounding guitars from Belew & Fetters. A bit more mandolin input from
Chris Arduser. The final track on the disc is a version of "Comin' Round
The Mountain" which had been available as a mp3 on the band's website some
time back. Perhaps a little more laidback overall in comparison to previous
output, but an extremely pleasant listen that will be in repeat mode on my
player for some time to come. (And considering the stuff I've had come in
the door within the past week, that's impressive - other recent acquisitions
include the Rubinoos box and "Party Of Two", new FoW, an Edgar Winter Group
reissue, and I'm expecting the new Kasim Sulton 2-disc any day. Talk about
fighting for listening space!)
