Yes, it appears these guys were around in the mid-80's - Bostonians.
Great rendition of The Vertebrats "Left In The Dark"! The original is
on one of the Bomp Voxx comps.

Another find - via KilledByDeath blog - feeding my unending quest for
Buzzcocks soundalikes is a San Diego band - The Power-Chords - with a
couple of winners:  "Unattached Strings" & New Pheromones".
