not sure. Maybe trying to sing some music with some real soul,
instead of retreads. Maybe doing something different instead of
relying on what every other washed up or over the hill singer
is doing.
I love the standards, Gershwin was is one of the true musical
geniuses of any time. But do we really need another cover
album of the same songs?
I realize I am in the minority as his albums are huge sellers.
But I just have a hard time seeing someone whose music has
moved me in such ways mail it in for the quick cash grab.
