I recall this too, and recall the brickbats crossing the ad nauseum threshold pretty quickly.

Personally I've never liked FOW, pre- or post-"Staceys Mom," but I no longer feel the need to belabor this.  I wish my dislike of them created more FOW for those who do, like if we were all at a buffet and the fact that I didn't care for the crab rangoon meant more for those who dig it.

(I did buy their first two albums and gave them at least three spins each at the time, then repeated the three-spins-each test before selling them, so I feel like the good-faith effort has been given.)

I'll add my voice to the hopefully-growing chorus of advocates for the new Mitch Easter. It's exactly the album any Let's Active fan would have wanted from him, and is stellar from start to finish.  Please pick one up when you purchase your FOW.
