Hey, if you live in NYC or nearby, come to the record release concert for
Richard X. Heyman's new album "Actual Sighs" on Saturday, April 14. It
will be at the Mazer Theatre, 197 East Broadway (1/2 block from the
F-train "East Broadway" stop; entrance on Jefferson Street, in the
Educational Alliance building). Doors open at 7 PM; showtime at 7:30
PM. Admission is $12 in advance (via Richard's website at
www.richardxheyman.com) or $15 at the door. The show will feature Richard
(of course) on guitar, piano, vocals and drums, Nancy (that's me) on
bass, Kurt Reil (of the Grip Weeds) on drums, Russ Kaplan (of the Randy
Bandits) on keys, Andy Resnick on guitar, Kristin Pinell on flute, and a
string quartet consisting of Deni Bonet, Beth Meyers, Chris Jenkins and
Beth Sturdevant. Richard will do tunes from the new album (his sixth)
along with others from the back catalogue. Hope you can make it; thanks
